prepping-snowmobile-web-HD-1Green Mountain Snowmobiles in Vermont is getting ready for the new riding season! From snowmobile prep to taking reservations, we are for snowmobiling! This is the time we pull all of the snowmobiles out of storage and prepare them for everyone looking to experience snowmobiling. This year, we have added several new Polaris snowmobiles to our fleet and we are excited to share them with you!

Even though we have new snowmobiles, a lot of work still needs to go into getting them ready for our guests to use. All snowmobiles go through extensive maintenance to ensure the safety of our guests. Green Mountain Snowmobiles checks everything from the heated hand grips to the chain case oil. The tracks, which makes the snowmobile move forward, are inspected closely and studded to help grip the different conditions that Vermont is known for.

The snowmobiles are not the only part of Green Mountain Snowmobiles that gets ready for the season, our professional guides are getting certified by the state of Vermont and taking wilderness responder classes. All guides are trained to make snowmobile safety their main concern.

When guides and snowmobiles are ready to go, it is time for snow! Once the snow starts flying, trail maintenance occurs to be sure that all blown down trees, possible safety hazards and unknown obstacles are taken care of. This is so the guest can focus on the beautiful scenery that can be experienced while snowmobiling in Vermont.

We invite you to take a ride of your life on a snowmobile in Vermont. We know you will have fun and be safe while enjoying an adventure of a life time. Check out our evening snowmobile tours through Smugglers’ Notch State Park or take a day tour on the VAST trails – who knows what you may see out there!
